Animating powerpoint pictures
1. Keep the animations simple
You don't want the audience to get dizzy and you don't want to stand around while powerpoint displays something on the screen.
2. Be consistent
Use the same transitions / wipes throughout your presentation.
Never ever, ever, ever use the "Random" transition, because you don't want to be left standing
like a lemon during the slow 'crawl' effect.
3. Be different
For sections heading or breaks in the presentation use a different effect for maximum impact.
4. Make a quick entrance and a clean exit
Try this for a neat effect. Have each picture display in the same place each time, but corresponding to each bullet. Each picture uses an exit effect to fade away quickly.
5. Grids not bullets
Bullets, bullets, bullets . . . Audiences can tired of bullet after bullet list. Use a grid system for a change. We particular like 2 rows by 3 columns.
